Vincent Willem van Gogh
Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter, born on March 30, 1853, in Zundert, Netherlands. He is known for his vivid use of color and expressive brushwork, which have made him one of the most influential figures in Western art.
Van Gogh's life was marked by struggle; he faced mental health issues and had a turbulent personal life. He produced over 2,100 artworks in just over a decade, including around 860 oil paintings. Some of his most famous works include "Starry Night," "Sunflowers," and "The Bedroom."
